(01)
Overview
Arabic language learning books designed for the Muslim Association of Canada (MAC). The books combine structured lessons, illustrations, and activities, with a focus on visibility and readability across different grade levels.

My Role
Graphic & Editorial Designer
I designed covers and interior layouts, collaborated with multiple teams at MAC to prepare the books for approval, and coordinated with printers to ensure the files were ready for production.
(03)
The Challenge
Make detailed curriculum content easy to read while balancing Arabic and English text, illustrations, and exercises. The books also needed to meet internal approval requirements and printer specifications.
(04)
Process
I worked with the curriculum team to organise lessons into consistent layouts, refined typography and spacing for readability, incorporated feedback from internal teams, and prepared files in coordination with printers.

Key Decisions
Clear type sizes
Strong contrast and generous spacing keep text visible and readable for young learners across grade levels.
Consistent headings
Consistent heading styles guide students through lessons and make each section easy to navigate.
Supportive illustrations
Illustrations and dedicated answer areas support the activities without crowding the learning content.

Final Work
A cohesive collection of educational book covers and interior layouts, prepared for approval and print production, with clear typography and organised content that supports reading and learning.
